Hives


What did you learn about hives?

    I learnt that you can stack more then one box on top of on another.
    Also that the Queen bee lives in the bottom and that's where she breads the eggs.

    today was a great day learning about different kinds of honey and the bee hives also learning about the queen bee and the mark on its back. it will be great if we would go back there one day with my family.

  3. It was a great experience and I learnt that the Queen bee lives in the bottom of the hives to lay her eggs

  4. i learnt today that the queen bee has to stay down in the bottom of the hive so that she doesn't fly up to the top and lay eggs in the honey

  5. I found out that the hive has a separate box at the bottom for the queen bee to lay her eggs so that she doesn't lay them in the honey and the keepers put a dot on the queens back to identify her
