We have made a start on our first NZ Read Aloud book of the year!

Ask your child to log into Edmodo to see what we are up to regularly. 

Today SM9 read the first part of the book.  There is a point where the boy is trying to decide if he would be a big storm cloud with thunder and lightning, or a light fluffy cloud.  The kids decided what they would be and why.  Then they acted this out in a freeze frame.  Can you guess which one they are?

We had an awesome day at West Shore Beach last Thursday!

We overcame many fears and learnt new skills.  The water was beautiful...a perfect, fun day out!

First Holy Communion

Congratulations to our wonderful children who celebrated their First Holy Communion at St Patrick's Church this morning!

Earthquake Explorers!

Last Thursday we spent the day going between the Quake 31! programme at the MTG, Out and About on Marine Parade, and the East Coast Lab at the Aquarium.  

We did a huge amount of learning in one day!
